2008 Kyrgyzystan  -  Kazahkstan

After breakfast we drove to Victory Square and the Osh Bazaar in Bishkek.  We then visited the State Historical Museum.  We had lunch at a local restaurant and began our drive to Almaty, Kazakhstan.  As we reached the border there were many trucks and other traffic passing through.  We all left the bus with our passports, walked over the bridge and stopped at a window in the border crossing building.  The border officers noticed that Kris had the wrong date on her visa and refused her entrance into Kazakhstan.  After a couple hours of conversation with the officials it was determined that she and Clarence would get a taxi and return to Bishkek and change their flights to their next destination.  So that was the end of the tour for them.  We were all sad to see them leave but there were no other options.
