Day01
 

Fly to Dalaman Air Port

Continue to Gocek.

Get on the boat in time for afternoon tea time

Sail to Bedri Rahmi Bay

Overnight at Cleopatra Bay.

Dinner on the Boat


 

  • Generally flights out of the USA arrives in Istanbul by noon. There is a flight to Dalaman Air port at 14:00 hrs. The flight is one hour. Melitour can buy your domestic flight tickets. It is cheaper to buy the domestic tickets locally.

  • Transfer to the gullet ( 30 minutes to Gocek from the air port)

  • Dalaman is an international air port with lots of international flights originating from England, Germany, France and Switzerland. If you like you can fly via one of these cities in Europe to avoid Istanbul. That will save you time as well.

  • Meet our excellent crew on board our boat Kaptan Grand Acar . Before we can over come the excitement of being on this beautiful Gullet, we will be  on our way to a wonderful experience.

  • Stop at a bay where the blue color of the Mediterranean is got patches of green with the reflection of the 100 year old pine trees growing right on the edge of the water.

  • Bedri Rahmi was a prominent painter and poet of Turkey. He had painted a big fish on a big rock in this bay thus his name was given to this open air art gallery

  • IMPORTANT NOTE: If your clients want to arrive in Istanbul a day before you start the yacht tour, we can arrange for hotel/transfer and even  a short site seeing for them in Istanbul. Then they can fly to the boat early in the morning to start their day on the water earlier. In that case we can add a lunch on the boat for day 1.

  • Cleopatra Bay got its name from the Roman Bath submerged partially in the sea.
Day 02 Merdivenli
  • We will strongly recommend your clients to be up early this morning to see the stunning shadows of the trees reflecting in the water at sun rise.
  • We will cruise in the Gocek Bay to day. you will probably think that when the creator were creating this bay, he must have left every thing else that he was doing and  using all of his creativity to make it immaculately beautiful
  • Sarsala Koyu Bay

Day 03 Sail to Fethiye The secrets of the ancient deities still lie hidden in the secluded coves and bays around the Gulf of Fethiye . We will sail out of Gocek to discover the wonders of the Bay of Fethiye

You can have a choice of doing a very interesting site seeing to the mountain village  which was deserted in the 1920's and has been subject to many books the most recent being the "Birds with out Wings"
Day 04 We will enjoy our absolute privacy as we sail to  the bays which do not even have names The birds and the crickets put the best trained opera singers in shame. If you are lucky in the light of the starts in the evening you can watch the seal hunt for their dinner

Day 05
 

 Sail to Gemiler Island
 

Visit Gemiler Island ruins – A wonderful hike to the top of the Island.

Opportunity for water ski ( not included)

  • At GEMICILER ISLAND stands Byzantine city with all of its grandeur You can swim to the ruins or take a walk in the rocky shores where black goats enjoy eating the bay leaves and sage.

  • We will stay overnight by the Island. We will celebrate the sun set at the peak of this island
     

 
Day 06 Overnight at Tersane Island We will visit the ship yards of the pirates of the Mediterranean from the Roman era
Swimming in the deep blue waters of this island will  give you surprises as the salt water mix up with the fresh water springs of the deep sea, the temperature vary from almost freezing to 80 F.
Day 07 Overnight at Ekincik
After breakfast sail to the Island in front of the beach where the last species of Carreta Carreta Turtles breed.( Giant Sea turtles  like in the Gallapagos Islands).

We want to have a wonderful journey in the river to Dalyan to see the turtles, if we are lucky and enjoy the history.

 Transfer to a smaller flat bottom river boats and cruise on the river up to Dalyan Lake and enjoy the spectacular ruins carved on the cliffs. The shots from your boat will be photographer's delight. Return to the boat after Visiting  Dalyan
By the time we leave this white sand shore  of the river , t the moon will start competing with the sun in dropping her first visible rays in the water
Sail out to Ekincik. The location which is not yet discovered by the other Captains. Experience the feeling of being  the only owner of the world. Dinner on board

Day 08 sunday

Transfer to the Dalaman air port from Marmaris

 Leave the boat after breakfast
